HaNa’s production of drawn and prestressed steel increased by 53%.

In the first seven months of 2021, HaNa Metalworking Company’s total production of drawn steel and prestressed steel (PC Bar and PC Strand) reached nearly 82,000 tons, a 53% increase compared to the same period last year. The company’s revenue from these three products reached approximately VND 1,500 billion, more than double that of the first seven months of 2020.

Of this, exports reached 28,761 tons, accounting for 35% of the company’s total steel product sales. Key export markets include the US, South Korea, Canada, Taiwan, Laos, and Cambodia.

The official launch of prestressed steel wire ropes – PC Strand – to the market at the beginning of 2021 contributed significantly to the increased sales volume of HaNa Metalworking Company. HaNa prestressed steel meets the American ASTM A416/A416M-17 standards, ensuring mechanical properties, tensile and compressive strength, and other technical specifications. The product is used in large-scale projects requiring high technical standards, load-bearing capacity, and safety, such as towers, viaducts, sea bridges, high-rise buildings, and cable cars.

According to Ms. Vu Anh Tuyet, Deputy Director of HaNa Metalworking Company, this achievement is the result of the collective efforts of all employees of the company to celebrate its 29th anniversary (August 22, 1992 – August 22, 2021).

In 2022, the company plans to put into operation the second PC Strand production line at the prestressed steel plant (Dung Quat Economic Zone – Quang Ngai) to double production compared to 2021. Simultaneously, the first PC Wire production line is expected to begin trial runs in February 2022. HaNa Metal Fabrication will install the third galvanized steel wire drawing line in Hung Yen, doubling the current galvanized steel wire production.

Also in 2022, the company plans to invest in the construction of a factory specializing in metal accessories for construction, bridges and roads, and container corner profiles, serving the HaNa Container Factory. The factory will be located next to the HaNa Container project in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.
